THANJAVUR: The Cholamandala Numismatics Society of Thanjavur has organised a National Numismatics exhibition.
The exhibition was inaugurated by DIG Abhash Kumar on Friday.
Copper and silver coins of ancient South India, coins of the Sangam Age, coins that were in use during the reign of the Chera, Chola and Pandiya kings, the Sathawahanas, Pallava rulers, Vijayanagara empire, Nayak kings and the Maratha rulers of Thanjavur, Gingee and Arni, are on display....
