U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard recently introduced legislation that would authorize the Secretary of the Treasury to adjust the metal content in U.S. coins. It was co-sponsored by U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar. Just by making slight adjustments to pennies and nickels, Allard said the bill could save taxpayers more than $100 Million each year...
