WASHINGTON -- Congress approved a redesign of the Sacagawea dollar Tuesday in hopes of enticing consumer and business use of the gold-colored coin.
Under legislation sponsored by U.S. Rep. Dale Kildee of Michigan, passed by voice vote in the House and sent to President George W. Bush for his signature, new editions of the coin will come out in 2009....
