You may have heard the one about the guy camping in the woods who was caught by the game warden cooking up a Spotted Owl he'd shot. When taken to court, the judge asked, "Don't you know the Spotted Owl is seriously endangered?" The guy responded, "I'm sorry. I was just really hungry and didn't have anything else to eat." Taking pity, the judge forgave him. Before letting him go, the judge asked, "I've got to know, what does Spotted Owl taste like?" The guy thought for a moment and said, "Eh, pretty much like Bald Eagle." I get it....
